**Here are some ideas to help keep your child actively learning.**  

  • read books (ask them questions about what they read)
  • practice sight words
  • practice basic Math facts
  • creative writing (Ideas: They can write about books they've read.  Students have also written informative paragraphs and personal narratives in class. They can keep a daily journal.)
