About the Teacher
I am excited to be teaching the performing arts at Hammond Eastside this year! I have a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University and have worked in the New Orleans area as a professional musician for the past several years.
Recently, I have performed as a member of the New Orleans Opera Chorus and section leader for the choir at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. I have also served as a stage manager for Southeastern's Opera/Music Theatre Department, and a house manager at the Saenger Theater and Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans.
Performing Arts classes offered to students this year will include MYP Choir, Theatre, and a combination Piano & Guitar class.
