Welcome Back to Ponchatoula Jr. High School 2020-2021 school year!
I will be your student's teacher this year. My name is Melissa Smith and I will be teaching the Self-Contained Classroom. I will be using the Unique program. I will prepare them for the state testing LA Connect.

We will use Unique, which includes the following: News 2 You, Reading, Lifeskills, Social Studies and Science. I will use extensions to lessons sucha as hands on activities, worksheets, and quiz.
This will be a new challgenge for our students at PJHS but, our goal is to make the transition to Virtual Learning as smooth as possible.
