Hi! Welcome Back!

I'm Mrs. Stephanie Whann! I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Athletic Training in 2008. I started working as certified athletic trainer in 2011 at Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, La and served there as the head athletic trainer for 6 years before I moved to Hammond, La. I started working at Hammond High Magnet School as the athletic trainer through North Oaks Health System and started teaching as an Allied Health Teacher, then the First Responder Teacher all in the same year as a full time sub. I became certified as a First Responder Instructor last summer, and a certified teacher through the CTTIE certification program in 2019. I enjoy teaching Sports Medicine. It was always my goal to become a Sports Medicine teacher at a high school. I love seeing students get involved in the career I chose when I was in high school myself. I enjoy sharing my passion and watching students gain an understanding of another career pathway.
