Course Overview: The Ponchatoula Jr. High School physical education department is based on the premise that physical activity and participation are important for all students, regardless of their level of athletic skill or ability. Throughout various activities, students in our program will learn how to incorporate physical activity into their daily lives. In addition, we hope to instill enjoyment of physical activity, as well as an understanding of the importance of maintaining physical fitness and usable life skills. |

Assignments: Each assignment posted to OnCourse will have written directions and a worksheet to be completed weekly. All assignments will be due by 10 pm on the last day of the school calendar week which is mainly Fridays. |

Your daily grades come from: Completing a weekly lesson worksheet in OnCourse. Work is graded for accuracy in response to information obtained from reading an article. |

|
Upon return to traditional school, a classroom syllabus will be given. |
|
|
School Supplies will be determined according to regulations upon return. |

Other: Keep up with weekly assignments and correspondence in a timely manner. Grades will be posted upon completion of assignment.
