My mission for my class is to create a positive atmosphere where children can learn, discover, and be confident in their achievements.

My Educational Philosophy

     Teaching is my passion and I am proud to be in this profession! Teaching gives me a great opportunity to show students a world of possibilities and my goal is to help each student be successful in reaching his or her greatest potential. I love seeing the children grow throughout the year and I enjoy helping on this journey. Learning, in my eyes, is a fun and exhilarating process that should be discovered with enthusiasm!

    For me, the role of teacher goes far beyond that of instructing. Not only do I have the chance to inspire my students and help them become lifelong learners, but I also have the responsibility of creating a safe and welcoming learning environment that nurtures and promotes confident and compassionate individuals. I also recognize the importance of the teacher, students and families working together.

    I realize that all students are unique and different in their own ways, including learning styles and find it is my responsibility to teach in ways that are effective to all of my students. I strive to bring learning to life while sparking the excitement, motivation and imagination within my students.
