I am Shelia Sanders, a proud Hammond High graduate, Grambling State University alum, and a United States Army Veteran. I began my career in education over 20 years ago. I have taught American History for six years. It's a subject I really enjoy. This is my 7th year at Hammond High and the first year I will be teaching African American Studies.
My students can expect enthusiasm, rigor, and high expectations. I believe learning is achieved best through direct interaction with my students. Unfortunately 1:1 and group supportive instruction will be limited due to restrictions imposed by Covid-19.
