ESL, Spanish I and Spanish II
Course Objective
To acquire a Basic Level of standardized universal Spanish, in order to be able to communicate and converse in simple terms during daily basis conversations.
In Class Overall
We are looking forward to a School Year complemented by Spanish.
It is my sincere intention that by the end of this course, our students had increased their knowledge of their own culture, their own language, and of course, other cultures.
That students speak a basic level of Spanish… or at least, if I may say, in a very globalized and colloquial way, at least our kids will be able to speak "Spanglish"; which is, in itself, a great accomplishment!
Introduction
Learning a language, like music and playing an instrument, is about practice and practice, mastering and evolving every step and stage of the way.
In learning another language, we cannot take things too fast, because this will lead us to discover that we have not fully assimilated the information and material necessary to develop satisfactory communication.
