Welcome to English 3- About English 3- Our 11th grade language arts curriculum focuses on fine-tuning reading comprehension, analysis and evaluation, oral language, and writing skills based on works of American literature. Students will explore fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama not limited to and including the following authors: Emily Dickinson, Dave Eggers, Frederick Douglass, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Herman Melville, Langston Hughes, Mark Twain, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Nathaniel Hawthorne, etc.
