Throughout the year, we work on various skills starting with Skills 1 and ending with Skills 7. I've attached our readers and corresponding workbooks to reinforce those skills. This will help your child with comprehension and fluency. You may notice that our tricky words are found throughout the readers. Certain parts of the tricky words are underlined, this means that "part" is not decodable and must be remembered. Practice reading each night! Your child should be reading at least 15 minutes each night. Please sit with your child and help them sound out and blend any difficult words. Practice tricky words/sight words throughout the week. These can be found on the weekly newsletter, as well as below. We have several varied ELA grades per nine weeks.
