Art III-IV

 These advanced art courses are open to juniors and seniors who have already taken Art 2.  Art 3 and 4 are taught in the same block with the same curriculum, and the following year Art 3 and 4 study an entirely different set of units.  Students get exposure to multiple media that they likely have never worked with.  They have a lot of freedom with their project concepts. Art history is also a major priority. 

The focus is on having a well-rounded experience in these classes so students will be prepared to study visual art in college and/or pursue a professional art career. 

Some of the units we study are printmaking, impasto painting, abstract sculpture, character design, collage, and ink and calligraphy.
