My name is Onochie Ochie, most people call me Coach O. My family is originally from the country of Nigeria, my siblings and I were first-generation born in the U.S.  I was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, but raised in Albany, Georgia. I played varsity basketball for Westover High School and by the end of my senior year, I was rated the #10 small forward in the state of Georgia. After high school, I accepted a basketball scholarship to play college basketball for the lions of Southeastern Louisiana University. After completing five amazing years for the lions, I was blessed with the opportunity to play professional basketball in Germany. Germany was an amazing experience, but my time playing professional basketball was cut short due to a severe knee injury. Once I stopped playing ball, I started coaching and teaching, and I truly fell in love with it. I love working with kids. This is third year teaching and my fourth year coaching, it's an honor to have a platform to impact kids. I am married to the love of my life and we have a beautiful one-year-old son.
